FORMER Gateshead and Luton Town midfield man JJ O’Donnell struck a priceless winner late on to give Blyth victory in their relegation six-pointer against Farsley Celtic.
The Celts looked to have held on for a point until Spartans top scorer O’Donnell flicked a header into the net from a Nicky Deverdics corner.
That put Blyth five points clear of the drop zone, Farsley still just three points clear of bottom club Guiseley.
