Trusty Stead earns first win for boss Johnson

A DOMINANT Brackley fully deserved a first win under manager Roger Johnson. Defensively strong, Saints restricted Buxton to only a rare sight of goal. The home side controlled midfield and were clinical, Callum Stead netting in each half.
The St James Park side threatened from the start, going ahead on 23 minutes as Cosmos Matwasa’s scuffed shot was directed over the line via the post from close range by the alert Stead.
