GOALS either side of the interval earned Darlington a fifth win in 10 away games and inflicted Hereford’s fifth reverse in six matches.
The home side had taken an early lea through Jack Evans but the visitors grabbed the points with strikes from Ben Liddle and Jack Lambert.
Hereford opened brightly as if trying to erase the memory of some recent disappointing performances and went in front on 11 minutes.
A neat movement saw Aaron Amadi-Holloway release Evans who raced into the box befor scoring with an angled right-foot shot.
