A CLINICAL performance by Spennymoor Town brought Chester’s impressive 17-match unbeaten run to an end, but the Deva Stadium outfit were left ruing missed chances that should have seen them claim a draw.
The home side were quicker out of the blocks, with Kurt Willoughby and Anthony Dudley narrowly wide with efforts.
Against the run of play, the visitors took the lead after 12 minutes. A high ball wasn’t dealt with and Paul Blackett nipped in to score from close range.
