IT WAS a perfect afternoon for Michael Gash in his first league game in charge of Peterborough Sports as they comfortably saw off high-flying Brackley Town.
New signing Jordon Crawford started for The Turbines after signing in the week from Boston United and he marked his debut with a fantastic goal.
Sports started both halves the better side with Josh McCammon having the best chance and seeing a back heel effort well saved. Adam Rooney had the ball in the net for Brackley on 27 minutes but it was ruled offside.
