DEVON MATTHEWS’ thunderous striker set Curzon Ashton on the way to a comfortable win over Boston United yesterday.
The game was even until the 30th minute when Matthews stepped up and hit a thunderous strike at goal, from 25 yards out, into the top left corner.
Curzon then built on this lead following Jordan Richards’ short corner that found Stefan Mols, whose cross reached the head of Alex Kenyon and he put the Nash two goals to the good five minutes before half-time.
