SCARBOROUGH Athletic fought back to earn a draw in a closely-fought contest after Alex Wiles had cancelled out an opener from Turbines player/boss Michael Gash.
Peterborough started the brighter with Jordan Nicholson attempting a low cross from the left but the hosts’ defence cleared the danger.
Scarborough’s debutant midfielder Olly Dyson, on loan from York City, saw Turbines goalkeeper Peter Crook off his line and attempted a lob, only to be thwarted by alast-ditch tackle from Gash.
