CHELMSFORD CITY failed to capitalise on Yeovil Town’s defeat as they were denied a victory against Slough Town.
Slough had the chance to take the lead when City skipper Dave Winfield bundled over Nathan Minhas but Henry Gray saved Johnny Goddard’s spot-kick.
Chelmsford almost equalised when Charlie Ruff’s effort sailed over Hugo Sobte but it hit the bar and bounced away.
