CONNOR Woods’ second-half free-kick was enough to earn Warrington Town their first win of the season.
Woods deceived Peter Crook with a curling right-foot effort from just outside the corner of the box with 19 minutes to play to decide what had been a closely fought contest.
The visitors started the brighter and could have led within two minutes, Dion Sembie-Ferris’ shot headed off the line by Evan Gumbs.
