■ BASILDON took all three points, with Ruben Bartlett-Antwi first-half strike proving to be the difference.
After starting the match brightly, the hosts went ahead in the 24 minute. A great run by Ramiah Mills saw him put in a great cross to Bartlett-Antwi who beat the offside trap and found the net.
Just before half-time, Mills had a glorious chance to double the score, but Maldon keeper Jamie Grossart made a brilliant save. In the second half Bartlett-Antwi and Nadil Berri both had chances, but again Grossart was equal to their efforts. The visitors l...
