TWO sides who harbour promotion aspirations failed to provide the ammunition for their respective strike forces.
Chester where marginally the more penetrative, however the majority of their chances rarely troubled the visitors shot stopper Patrick Boyes.
The early opportunities fell to the home side, however two long-range efforts from Declan Weeks were off target while a close-range chance fell to the recalled Kurt Willoughby, but his lacklustre shot was easily saved by Boyes.
