A PULSATING, very physical battle fittingly ended all-square as two fully committed teams slugged it out.
Twice the visitors came from behind and were a whisker away from claiming all three points in a frantic goalmouth scramble in added time.
The Magpies opened the scoring on five minutes, the ball dropping kindly for Mike Calveley to find the net from ten yards.
United’s Kian Scales was lucky to stay on the pitch after a lunging tackle on Tom Carr.
