SCUNTHORPE secured a third successive home victory to climb back into the top two, but made much harder work of it than boss Andy Butler will have liked.
The Iron got offto a near perfect start in the 10th minute when Callum Roberts and Kian Scales combined to find Joe Rowley and he fired into the bottom corner, but the Mariners were level within five minutes as top scorer Paul Blackett capitalised on a mistake by Andrew Boyce to slot his 15th goal of the campaign.
