Boston United have sacked manager Craig Elliott with the club sat in the National League North play-off places.
The Pilgrims are seventh, 12 points behind leaders Brackley Town and have lost their last three matches.
Elliott, 43, departs following Sunday’s 3-2 defeat at home to Alfreton Town.
The former Shaw Lane boss took over the United reigns in November 2017 and guided the club to the second round of the FA Cup in 2019.
Boston were one of the favourites to be challenging for the title this season after losing in May’s National League North play-off final.
“Elliott departs the Jakemans Community Stadium with the club’s sincere thanks and best wishes for the future,” the club said. “A further statement will be made in due course.”
