The move comes following a number of suggestions from Quakers supporters and the club have revealed both the National League and Spartans “swiftly agreed to the idea”.
In a statement released on their website, the club said: “The invasion of Ukraine has led to a huge outpouring of support for the people of Ukraine from all around the world, and in our own small way, we would also like to give our backing.
“We intend to hold a bucket collection on Saturday, the proceeds of which will go to a refugee charity, and we also encourage our fans to wear their yellow DFC shirts in support of Ukraine for the game.
“And if you know any Ukrainian people in the town, why not invite them along to the game?”
The show of support has now extended to a goods collection at the turnstiles as the Quakers look to provide clothing, toiletries, medical supplies and food for charities aiding those impacted by the invasion.
