Leamington inflicted defeat on Farsley Celtic in David Stockdale’s first game in charge of the Yorkshire side.
The game was in doubt a couple of hours before kick-off due to heavy rain, but the sterling work of volunteers ensured it would go ahead, and Brakes eased to a third consecutive league victory.
Ewan Williams got them off to the perfect start with five minutes gone, snaffling up the rebound after George Ward’s header was cleared off the line.
Joao Silva headed narrowly over for the visiting side.
