National League South newcomers Slough Town have brought in experienced midfielder Louie Soares as they continue to make preparations for the new season following their promotion winning campaign.
The 33-year-old, who can play as an attacking midfielder, arrives at Arbour Park after a hugely successful season with Hungerford where he picked up the Players’ Player of the Year and Supporters’ Player of the Year awards, whilst also finishing with the Golden Boot as the Crusaders avoided relegation from the National League South by a solitary point.
Soares has plenty of experience, having represented the likes of of Aldershot Town, Barnet and Southend United amongst others.
He is also a capped international, having represented the Barbados National Team on two occasions, scoring one goal in the process.
