Asa Hall leaves Barrow for Torquay

Following their relegation from the last season, have continued preparations for the new campaign by completing the signing of midfielder Asa Hall.
The 31-year-old was a regular feature in the midfield last season, racking up 37 appearances and scoring three goals in the process.
Hall brings plenty of footballing experience to Plainmoore having made over 300 first team appearances during his career thus far.
Before moving to Barrow, Hall spent three years with Cheltenham. He has also turned out for a range of other clubs including Luton Town, Oxford United and Shrewsbury Town.
Hall has worn the captain’s armband at many of his previous clubs and could stake a claim for the captaincy at Torquay following the departure of former skipper Sean McGinty to Partick Thistle.
The former Barrow man joins George Essuman, Josh Gowling, Jakub Sokolik, Bobson Bawling, Jason Banton, Jamie Reid, Ruairi Keating, Jon-Paul Pittman, and Brett Williams as players under contract at Plainmoore for the 2018/19 season.
