Wealdstone have brought in defender Connor Stevens after the 20-year-old left Premier League club Watford.
Stevens made a number of appearances for the Under 23 side at Watford but failed to establish himself in the first-team picture.
The defender spent much of last season on loan at Wealdstone‘s National League South rivals Oxford City, where he featured 16 times to help The City to a 12th place finish.
Stevens has been training with Wealdstone during pre-season and has impressed manager Bobby Wilkinson enough to be offered a permanent contract.
Wilkinson told Wealdstone’s official club website, “Connor has done exceptionally well in preseason in a key area for us and the opportunity arose to sign him as we look to finalise the squad”
