Former Concord Rangers boss Sammy Moore is back in management with Hemel Hempstead.
Jack Midson has also joined the club as player-assistant manager.
Moore was asked to step down at Concord last week just days after taking the Beachboys into the National League South play-offs, although they could not compete in them after failing ground grading requirements.
Hemel boss Joe Deeney has departed having taken over in November from Dean Brennan when he left for Billericay Town. The Tudors finished 16th in the division.
A club statement read: “Sammy Moore and Jack Midson have agreed a deal with the club to take charge immediately. Sammy will assume the role of Manager with Jack taking the role of player/assistant manager.
“Tudors fans will remember Jack from his time at the club back in 2004 when he was on loan from Dageneham & Redbridge.
“Sammy and Jack take over from Joe Deeney who has departed the club by mutual consent. We would like to thank Joe for his work and dedication whilst at the club. Joe came in at a difficult time and stabilised the club giving 100%. Everyone wishes him the very best for the future.”
