WHITEHAWK continued their improvement under Andy Woodman as they picked up their third win in five against Bishop’s Stortford.
Christian Scales’ low ball in was deflected goalwards by a visiting Blues defender early on, with on-loan Lincoln keeper Richard Walton doing well to turn the ball over the bar, before Scales volleyed just wide after great work from Hogan Ephraim.
An uneventful first half was summed up on the half hour, with Frankie Sutherland seeing an effort well blocked by a resolute Stortford defence.
