POOLE TOWN boosted their play-off hopes thanks to a late goal from Luke Roberts. On 77 minutes the decisive goal came when Abdulai Bell-Baggie’s long-range cross found Roberts unmarked to send an excellent header out of the reach of goalkeeper Craig Hill to gain the win for the visitors.
At the start of the game, a hopeful Bell- Baggie strike carried straight into Hill’s arms.
Ezra Forde made an excellent run for Oxford, but was denied by a block as he closed in on goal.
