DOOMED Stortford bowed out in style after 13 seasons in the National League when they netted four times before the break to thrash Truro.
This was the Blues’ only league double this term and unbelievably having gone over 14 hours without scoring in the league, the hosts then notched four goals in half an hour.
Kevin Watson’s side withstood early pressure from the Cornishmen and took the lead in the ninth minute after great work by Evans Kouassi on the left led to Sam Ford shooting home inside the far post.
