EAST THURROCK brought the curtain down on a successful first season in the Vanarama National League South with a hard-fought draw.
The Rocks opened the scoring in the 33rd minute, thanks to some quick thinking by Sam Higgins. The home captain took a free-kick, playing the ball into the path of Kye Ruel, who took a touch before coolly finishing into the bottom left corner.
Wealdstone equalised in the 43rd minute and Joe White was on hand to finish, placing the ball past the keeper into the right-hand side netting.
