A DRAMATIC winner from Christian Oxlade-Chamberlain broke the hearts of a St Albans side who had battled back to cancel out a two-goal deficit.
The nearest either side came to breaking the deadlock in the opening 45 minutes was when a low drive by Kieran Monlouis was pushed against the post by Jordan Holmes.
The Saints opened the second half with all guns blazing with Sam Merson missing an early chance and Charlie Walker seeing his effort pushed away by Holmes following a corner.
