KUDUS OYENUGA’S double ensured a great start for Chelmsford against Gloucester City, who were playing their first match since moving from National League North.
The Clarets took the lead on two minutes as Oyenuga latched on to a loose ball following Chris Bush’s long throw and rifled it home.
Gloucester held their own in the first half as Rod Stringer’s side continued to search for a second to consolidate their position, however a lack of ruthlessness in the final third hurt the Clarets.
