Vintage Clarets put Truro to the sword

MATT JOHNSON and Chris Dickson were on target for the second-placed Clarets.
Scott Davies and Michael Spillane had chances to give the hosts a lead, but Davies’s low shot was turned away by Tom McHale and Spillane could not keep his header down.
The Clarets should have easily had a winning margin at the interval after Dickson shot just wide and Michael West saw his cross flash across goal, while Dickson could not poke home past McHale when he found himself through on goal.
