A VALIANT second-half performance by the Crusaders failed to earn a point against a Gloucester side who took their chances.
After the managerial changes of the previous week, caretaker bosses Jon Boardman and Ian Herring had done a fantastic job to stabilise Hungerford, although the frailties of previous games came back to haunt them yesterday.
The early exchanges were end to end but it was Gloucester who went ahead on 18 minutes when a tremendous shot by Ed Williams from outside the box flew in.
