ST ALBANS moved second in the table after a comfortable win.
The visitors almost opened the scoring 90 seconds into the game when Nick McCootie latched on to a long ball and looked to beat Dean Snedker but the goalkeeper was out quickly to deny him.
Bath had most of the possession for the opening 30 minutes but struggled to get further efforts on goal.
As half-time approached, Zane Banton passed the ball into the path of Rhys Murrell-Williamson, who made no mistake as he curled an effort past Luke Southwood and into the far corner.
