GETHYN HILL’S first half injury-time finish was enough for Weston to beat winless Whitehawk.
The Seagulls enjoyed much of the possession in the early stages against the bottom side but struggled to test goalkeeper Seny Dieng, with Dayle Grubb and Tristan Plummer both going close in the first 20 minutes.
Dangerous striker Hill gave Weston a well-deserved lead in first half stoppage time when he latched onto a loose ball and poked it home.
