BRADFORD did just enough to win what was, at times, a niggly game. Bradford were always more comfortable on the ball, playing some good football in midfield, but could not find a telling final pass. The only goal of the game came from Oli Johnson when he scored on the turn at a poorly defended corner after 19 minutes.
Perhaps surprisingly, the goal seemed to lift Ferriby rather than Bradford. Kuda Muskwe forced a fine one-handed save from Steve Drench as Ferriby began to finally get in to the game. There was actually less goal threat from both ...
