HEMEL were ruthless as they continued their hunt for a playoff spot with a comfortable win over Whitehawk.
The Hawks, who remain winless for the season, were behind within the first minute after David Mayo found space before firing off a low drive. League debutant goalkeeper Jordan Hawkins tipped the shot on to the post but ex-Brighton player Will Hoskins was first to the rebound to score.
Whitehawk could have levelled moments later but Ky Marsh-Brown’s effort was saved by Laurie Walker.
