ED Williams converted a late penalty to boost Gloucester City’s hopes of survival.
The forward kept his cool to slot away the spot-kick on 89 minutes and help the Tigers move five points clear of the drop zone.
Neither side had looked like breaking the deadlock during a dour encounter, which was largely bereft of quality and chances.
Gloucester wasted an early chance when Sam Avery headed over Ed Williams’ free-kick from eight yards, before Lewis Hall saw his volleyed effort deflected narrowly wide.
