HUNGERFORD and Braintree played out a drab game which was ultimately decided by an own goal.
Braintree started well but never looked like recreating their five-goal haul against the Crusaders, when they met earlier in the season.
It took 19 minutes for any goalkeeper to be tested when a lucky break fell to Luke Allen but his shot was smothered by Oliver Davies in the Hungerford goal.
