SUBSTITUTE Elliot Benyon kept Whitehawk’s survival hopes alive by scoring the winner just seconds after coming on against Welling United.
The Hawks went ahead through Lloyd Macklin before Gold Omotayo saw red for the hosts.
Olu Durojaiye drew Welling level just after half-time, only for Benyon to score the decisive goal 12 minutes from time.
The Hawks broke the deadlock after 18 minutes when Nassim L’Ghoul did well on the left before his low ball in picked out Macklin and his first-time finish found the far corner.
