A DANNY Mills goal saw leaders Dartford escape from Priory Lane with a 1-0 victory that was scarcely deserved, as Eastbourne failed time and again to finish off their relentless attacking play.
Mills pounced on 33 minutes, smashing in Lee Noble’s lethal cross from five yards out, and the Darts’ organised defence did the rest to retain their narrow lead over Havant at the top.
Borough opened in style and almost shot into a first-minute lead as the inspirational Sergio Torres exchanged passes and burst through, but fired over.
