THIS was a typical endof- season affair at the Gallagher Stadium as Maidstone United and FC Halifax Town took part in a goalless draw which for the most part, was as drab as the grey skies over the county town of Kent.
With both sides coming through a tense final few weeks of relegation uncertainty, both will be playing top-flight football next season and saw out rollercoaster campaigns with a hard-earned point in a tale of two fine goalkeeping performances.
