ST ALBANS CITY’S faint hopes of making the playoffs were extinguished as they succumbed to a sixth loss in seven at Bath City in an action-packed final game at Twerton Park.
The Romans were given an early opportunity to open the scoring when Percy Kiangebeni needlessly felled Antoine Semenyo in the box.
Matt Richards stepped up, but Saints keeper Dean Snedker guessed right and comfortably blocked the spot-kick.
