AMAR LOZA’S secondhalf strike cancelled out Christoper Whelpdale’s Clarets opener as two high-scoring sides had to settle for a draw. In a scrappy first half it was Chelmsford who started the brighter by forcing four early corners, one of which had Craig Ross producing a fine save.
The prolific Rhys Murphy was always a threat for the visitors and had a hand in the opening goal of the game.
When his header from a corner bounced off the crossbar, the ball fell to Whelpdale, whose firsttime shot beat Ross and nestled into the top corner.
