HORNCHURCH had taken only three points from their last 24 but with new manager Mark Stimson at the helm claimed a draw against a Kingstonian side sitting comfortably in the play-off position.
Kingstonian started the stronger and went close on five minutes after Tommy Brewer’s effort went just wide.
A George Saunders 20 yard shot then shook the post for the hosts but the K’s had a great chance to open the scoring from the penalty spot on 36 minutes but Callum Chafer saved Louie Theophanous’ spot kick.
