WIDNES continued their climb up the table by making it three wins in a row with a convincing 5-1 win away at stuggling Kendal Town.
Widnes controlled the first half with Ben Hodgkinson stealing the show as he scored a hattrick to send his side into the break with a commanding 3-0 lead.
Kendal did have an opportunity in the first half with Kyle Sambor showing his ability with an overhead kick which ended in the keeper’s arms.
As the second half kicked off it was Kendal who made a strong start with Sambor once again at the heart of the action.
