STOPPAGE TIME controversy left Eastbourne Borough’s hopes of a crucial victory dashed – and preserved an equally crucial point for Bath.
After 93 goalless but pulsating minutes, the Sports fashioned one final attack, substitute Andrew Briggs was through on goal and looked to have been clipped by a defender’s desperate challenge.
