CLINICAL Gloucester completed a secondhalf turnaround to see off hosts St Albans.
Saints could have scored two goals inside the opening ten minutes, but first Sam Merson saw his header well saved by Will Henry before Solomon Sambou’s low strike was denied by a combination of keeper and defender on the line.
The Tigers were presented with a golden opportunity to score themselves, but Dejon Noel-Williams – son of former Watford striker Gifton, on loan from Oxford United – somehow put the ball over from five yards.
