SOLITARY goal from subsitute Shaun Jeffers returned Chelmsford City to winning ways.
It was the hosts who had the best chance of the first-half in the 10th minute as Oliver Muldoon floated a cross into the box which found Chris Whelpdale, who nodded the ball across to Sam Higgins only for the strikers to miss from from two yards.
Bath’s first chance came on 15 minutes from Dan Rooney as Tom Smith picked the midfielder out in the box but he curled an effort straight at Carl Pentney.
