Wealdstone extended their lead at the top of National League South to five points after edging past Maidstone United.
First half goals from Billy Clifford and Jacob Mendy cancelled out Dan Wishart’s consolation, ending Maidstone’s five-game unbeaten run in the division.
The visitors dominated the early stages, mainly through Wishart, who was the main positive for the Kent-based Stones throughout the afternoon.
