ST ALBANS battled back to earn a point at Slough Town - and could have snatched the win.
Slough started the game brightly with St Albans grateful Dean Snedker was alert to get important touches to deny the hosts.
However, it was the visitors who came closest to opening the scoring when Joe Laciofano broke clear with his shot beating Jack Turner but not the post which it rebounded off of.
With Slough in control of the match, Matt Lench found the breakthrough on 38 minutes. Winning the ball in opposition territory he took two touches to move forward...
