DORKING made it three wins on the spin with victory over Maidstone United after a hotly contested fixture, on and off the field.
After an even start to the game at Meadowbank, Maidstone took the lead in straight-forward fashion, Matt McClure’s downward header from a Noah Chesmain corner drifting past the returning Slav Huk.
The conceded goal fired up the home side who took the game to the visitors for the majority of the match thereafter and got themselves ahead during what a became a high tempo first half.
