WEYMOUTH are up to fourth but never had to get near top gear in a straightforward 3-0 defeat of an out-of-sorts Beach Boys.
Played out in a subdued atmosphere, the game woke up in the 13th minute when, completely out of the blue, Weymouth got themselves in front.
Abdulai Baggie teed up Ben Thomson on the corner of the area, and the burly striker smashed a 20-yard rocket into the corner past keeper Chris Haigh.
