SAM MAGRI’S late header gave Havant their first home league victory on a Saturday since January 5th. But Concord could hold their heads high after a battling display.
The first chance fell to the Beachboys when Decarrey Sherrif ‘s fierce shot was blocked.
And they took the lead on 21 minutes when Danny Kedwell flashed a header from Nicky Bailey’s curling 35-yard free-kick into the net past Concord keeper Chris Haigh. Just after half-time, the Hawks’ Bradley Tarbuck fell under a penalty box challenge.
