GLENN TAMPLIN is itching to get back into football – but Chelmsford City owner John Holmes has refuted claims it will be with the Clarets.
Multi-millionaire Tamplin made his name after a whirlwind three years in charge of Billericay Town before selling up and walking away from the club in September.
But this week the 47-year-old steel company owner revealed he was itching to get back into the game – with National League South rivals Chelmsford City the club rumoured to be targeted.
